With a year of experience working in the emergency room, more than 3 years of laboratory research, and over 2 years of medical school completed, she has a wide variety of both scientific and clinical knowledge that she is excited to use to dissect episodes of the most popular tv medical drama and relate it to real life medicine! Our Story
Anna: Olivia and I recently started rewatching Grey's Anatomy for the first time since starting medical school and could not stop laughing at all of the nonsensical "medicine" that we had never paid attention to before. We started searching for anything that explained the truth behind the medicine in the show, but found little content. We realized we had the perfect opportunity to talk about one of our favorite shows and share our medical thoughts with Grey's Anatomy fans, regardless of medical expertise!
Olivia: We started Myth vs. Medicine: Debunking Grey's Anatomy Podcast with a simple idea: to create a podcast that could entertain and educate listeners, all in the context of our all-time favorite medical tv drama. We were thrilled when we realized no podcasts had been done on this subject and we cannot wait to share our thoughts with you!
